About Dr. Henry A. Solomon

Dr. Solomon is a Board Certified Cardiologist, and a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. He maintained a private practice for over 20 years in New York City, and was on the Attending Staff at The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center. He continues to serve on the faculty of Cornell University Medical College, where he is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine. He has authored numerous scientific papers and articles, published and edited newsletters in the field of Cardiovascular Disease, and written a book on the impact of exercise on health and fitness that has been translated into several languages and sold in many countries.
Dr. Solomon served in the USAF Medical Corps, attaining the rank of Captain, and serving as Chief of the Air Force Clinic at Mather AFB, in California. Dr. Solomon has served as Medical Director of a leading pharmaceutical advertising agency, medical education company and medical public relations agency. He has consulted for companies in the medical device field, and has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having served as both Medical Director and Director of Global Business Development at Hoffman-La Roche, and as Medical Director at Pfizer Inc.
